Once a month, on the Friday closest to the Full Moon, the Black Sheep Yoga Flight Club meets: The 1st Rule of Flight Club-Forget Fear!
Join Raschel Kloos for an evening of gravity-defying fun at this empowering class full of inversions and arm balances. You will be carefully guided into a variety of basic to advanced asanas, which will diversify and strengthen your practice. You will explore variations of the postures and play with fun and challenging transitions. This class is an excellent opportunity for you to advance your practice, flip your perspective, and build confidence, courage and greater focus.
While we welcome all students, this class is best suited for those with some prior exposure to inversions. A willingness to try something new and exhilarating is a must! Take the leap, and join us!

Unraveling the Mysteries of the Hips and Core-A Forrest Yoga Workshop: Saturday, June 17th 1-3PM with Sharon Dawson
Sometimes the Hips and Core can feel like the greatest mystery. How do we achieve mobility in our hip joints and strengthen our core? Forrest Yoga is a strong, modern style developed by Ana T. Forrest. Emphasis is on connecting to the subtle muscles of the core, deep breath, and pose sequences to build heat, flush out toxins and release stuck emotions.
All levels are welcome! Pose modifications and up-levels are offered as well as special emphasis on how to work with and heal injuries. Apex poses include fun binds, hip openers and more challenging arm balances for those ready to try.
$35 for workshop or come back for sound healing and pay $60 for both

Restorative Yoga with Sound and Crystal Grid Healing: Saturday, June 17th 6-8PM with Sharon and Jeff Dawson
The Awesome Dawson's are back in town just to visit Black Sheep! Come experience the healing synchronicity of Yoga, Sound and Crystals! Sharon and Jeff Dawson guide you through a series of yoga poses designed to gently release soft tissue surrounding the muscles where tension and trauma are stored. The studio is cleared and energetically charged with a crystal grid to support your healing journey. Crystal Bowls activate and align each of your seven chakras, creating balance.
New Community Mediation Donation Based Class Sunday's 7-8:15PM with Natalie DiMambro
This is a donation based meditation class that will be a combination of silent sitting along with a mix of other meditative modalities (like walking or guided meditation and ocassinaly a group discussion). The group's focus will be on reconnecting to the heart center and reducing stress caused by a cluttered mind, while developing a practice of mindful observance to take off the mat and into everyday life.
Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
All donations collected will benefit Acumen, a non-profit global venture capital fund whose goal is to use entrepreneurial approaches to address global poverty.
Yoga Basics: Thursday nights 7-8PM with Vanessa Wolverton
This class is designed for anyone brand new to yoga or students interested in going back to the fundamentals of the practice. Foundational yoga postures and breathing practices will be covered in an approachable and open environment. Completion of a few of these classes will prepare students for other ongoing classes at the studio.
