Diana Stein
Diana was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In college
she was introduced to a new fitness sensation called Aerobics.
She enrolled in a course and was soon hired and personally
trained to teach at her professor, and acclaimed Fitness
Choreographer’s, studio. Years passed quickly. She completed
her undergraduate degree in Communication Art and
pursued a fulfilling career in Advertising Design and Publishing.
When she and her husband became parents in 1998, they soon
moved to Oceanside to raise their son in a more serene
surrounding. It was there that she discovered a true passion for
teaching Art. That soon led to graduate school and earning her
K-12 CA Teaching Credential, followed by a M.A. in Teacher
Leadership and a second M.A. in Administration and Supervision.
After a health scare she was reminded to take better care of
herself. It was then that she discovered the powerful healing
potential of a committed yoga practice. Currently, Diana is a
200-Hour RYT and will complete her 500-Hour RYT in
December, 2024. Diana’s passion for education is only surpassed
by her love of humanity. Simply said, she is over the moon about
guiding others towards reaching their own personal and physical
potential through the incredible healing art of yoga, breathwork,
and community building with Black Sheep Yoga in Oceanside
